Parkway Construction and Architecture has officially broken ground on a new Kirby-Smith Machinery (KSM) facility in Van Alstyne, Texas. This new project, in collaboration with Morphic Development, marks an important milestone, strengthening Parkway’s presence in the industrial sector and supporting KSM’s growth across North Texas.
The 29,619-square-foot development includes sitework and construction of two new structures: a ground-up metal building that will house the office and service shop areas, and a secondary building designed for wash-down operations. Parkway is serving as both the architect and general contractor, delivering the project through a fully integrated design-build approach.
At the groundbreaking event, Kirby-Smith Machinery President and CEO John Arapidis praised the partnership:
“Thank you to Parkway Construction, the contractor on this project; it’s been unbelievable to work with them. They’ve been an incredible part of this team, and we’re thrilled to have them on board and continue our work with them.”
Construction is now underway, with completion targeted for mid 2026.
